Registration

The Registration/Welcome Desk will be located on the ground floor in the both conference buildings (M1 & M2).
It will operate the following hours:

Sunday, June 17 15:00-20:00
Monday, June 18 07:30-18:30
Tuesday, June 19 08:30-18:30
Wednesday, June 20 08:30-18:30
Thursday, June 21 08:30-15:00

Badges
Badges will be color separated in three categories: Participant, Invited Speaker, Local Organizing Committee. Your name badge should be worn at all times otherwise you will not be permitted entry to the Conference halls.

Transportation

By Taxi:
A taxi ride from the city center to the Thessaloniki Concert Hall or the City’s fortifications is about €4-6. You can get a taxi from multiple taxi stations on the central streets, or any taxi passing by with the “free” light on. If you wish to order or pre-book a taxi you can call at: (0030) 2310-525000

By Bus: Local Bus ticket costs €1,00 for a single ride! Day tickets cost €4. The bus ride from the city center to the Concert Hall takes about 15 minutes. Thessaloniki Concert Hall is located at 100m from “Martiou” bus stop on 25 Martiou street where bus numbers 5 / 6 / 8 / 33 pass from, and 200m from “Georgiou” bus stop on Georgiou street where bus number 30 passes from. On Foot: Most distances towards the Concert Hall are doable on foot for those who enjoy walking, jogging, or just exploring the city from within. Bellow you will find the walking distances for some of the common start and end points in the city through the waterfront side walk.  

Thessaloniki Port to Thessaloniki Concert Hall: about 5km and approx. 60 min walk.  
Aristotelous Square to Thessaloniki Concert Hall: about 4,6km and approx. 50 min walk.  
White Tower to Thessaloniki Concert Hall: about 3,4km and approx. 40 min walk.

Speakers Ready Room

It will be located in M2.10_CR3 @ ground floor.
At the Speaker Ready Room you can provide updates to your presentation, rehearse transitions, and review any last-minute details that will provide attendees with a seamless session. A Windows-PC computer, LCD projector, and screen will be available for previewing your presentation in the Speaker Ready Room at the Conference Hall, during the following hours:

Exhibition

The Exhibition will be located in both conference buildings (M1 & M2) and on the following floors: M1 – 1st floor / M1 – 2nd floor / M2 – Ground floor

Meeting Room

A number of smaller conference halls will be available for business or corporate meetings. Please contact the Registration/Welcome Desk for further details and confirmation.

Coffee & Lunch Breaks

Coffee and lunch breaks are served in both conference buildings (M1 & M2). You will be asked to present your conference badge in order to be served, so make sure to wear your badge at all times.

Working Room

A working room with WiFi internet access will be located in M2 building_A1 & A2 @ 1st floor available for all the participants to work in between sessions and open during the normal conference hours. It can be used free of charge with your name badge.

Relax & Yoga Room

A place to relax, exercise, or meditate, our Yoga room will be available to all conference visitors daily during the conference. An instructor will be available during lunch breaks (also available for accompanying people). Just put on some comfy clothes and give yourself a breathing moment. It will be located in M2 building_B2 (1st floor) and you have free entrance with your name badge.

Internet & Apps

Applications
There are two mobile conference applications available for free download from Applestore or Playstore to a smartphone or tablet. The Conference Apps give all the information necessary about the event and they will be updated with any changes. You are required to download both in order to connect with all conference information and programming. One application name is 16ECEE and the other is 16ECEE_Main.

žInternet/Wifi
WiFi access within the Thessaloniki Concert Hall is included in the delegate registration fee. High-speed wireless internet access is available throughout the Thessaloniki Concert Hall for your convenience (TCH wifi – no password needed). Please note that signal is off inside the Conference session rooms.

Photographs

Delegates are advised that they are not allowed to take photographs of any posters or presentations without the authors’/presenter’s consent. A conference photographer will take photos during the conference for conference promotional reasons.
